If you have a prior version of a EndNote Library and move to EndNote 20, a 'Copy of your library' will be made to make it compatible with V20.

Note: EndNote X9 is still available but no longer listed in your Program shortcuts, go to your Program folder areas if you wish to open X9. There is no need to uninstall EndNote X9 prior to installing V20.Review the installing EndNote steps which will be similar for both X9 and V20.Select the version of EndNote you wish to install from the available list of software.In the LH bottom "Type here to search box" enter 'software center'.

UWA staff can install copies of EndNote from the Windows Software Centre or MacIntosh Self Service Center for their work PC’s. You can install EndNote or upgrade to EndNote V20.2 on your staff PC or Mac without having to place a service desk request. We would however recommend un-installing anything older than X9. Unlike previous versions, it’s not necessary to uninstall your prior X9 version before installing V20. Make sure all applications are closed, especially MS Word, when you run the installation.

Unzip this and copy all of the content to a new temporary folder within the main document folder area on your PC.

A zipped installation package will be in your PC download folder.

Accept the licenses agreement to proceed to download.

Download the installation package from the UWA Software site, logging in using your student Pheme.

If you need to use either AGLC or Vancouver (Citing Medicine) referencing styles you will need to add these post-installation.
